Goal: Verify that Gmail and Google Drive apps work on your phone, or write down the steps to set them up at home.
Tip: Make sure you are connected to the classroom WiFi before starting. Ask your instructor for the network name and password if needed.
Step 1: Check the Gmail App
On your phone, open the App Store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android)Look for the blue App Store icon (iPhone) or the colorful Play Store triangle (Android)
Search for "Gmail" — check if it is already installedIf you see an "Open" button, it is installed. If you see "Get" or "Install," it needs to be downloaded.
If installed: Open Gmail and verify you are signed in with your class Gmail accountYou should see your inbox with emails from this course. If not signed in, tap your profile icon and add your account.

☐ Need to install at home
Step 2: Check the Google Drive App

My Drive App Status
☐ Already installed and signed in
☐ Need to install at home
Tip: No smartphone? No problem! Write down the steps and try at home using your WiFi. The important thing is knowing how to do it.
Step 3: Send a Test Email from Your Phone
Open the Gmail app on your phone
Tap the Compose button (pencil icon or "+" button)
Type a classmate's email address in the "To" field
Subject: "Test from my phone"
Body: "This is [your name] sending from my phone!"
Tap Send (the arrow icon)
Step 4: Verify Sync
On your COMPUTER, open Gmail in the browserCheck that the test email you just sent appears in your Sent folder on the computer too.
Open a file from Google Drive on your phoneNavigate to one of your Week 6 folders and tap a file to open it. This proves your files are accessible anywhere.
Checkpoint — Raise your hand when done:
- ☐ I can send and receive email on my phone OR I wrote down the setup steps for home
- ☐ I can access Google Drive on my phone OR I documented the steps to install it
- ☐ I verified that my sent email syncs between phone and computer
Goal: Review skills from all 7 previous weeks by playing Skill Bingo with your classmates.
How to Play
Walk around the room. Find a classmate who can demonstrate or explain each skill. Have them sign the square. Get 5 in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) to win!
Rules: Each classmate can sign a maximum of 2 squares on your card. You cannot sign your own card. The FREE space in the center counts for every line.
Tip: Be honest! Only sign squares for skills you are confident about. This is a chance to celebrate what you know and discover what to review.
