Why Use Mobile Apps?

Your Gmail and Google Drive work on your phone too! This means you can check email, view files, and even upload photos while away from your computer. Everything stays in sync automatically.

Setting Up Gmail on Your Phone

🤖 Android Phone

  1. Open the Play Store app
  2. Search for "Gmail"
  3. Tap "Install" (may already be installed)
  4. Open Gmail app
  5. Tap "Add account"
  6. Enter your Gmail address
  7. Enter your password
  8. Allow notifications when asked

🍎 iPhone

  1. Open the App Store
  2. Search for "Gmail"
  3. Tap "Get" to download
  4. Open Gmail app
  5. Tap "Sign in"
  6. Enter your Gmail address
  7. Enter your password
  8. Allow notifications when asked
💡 Tip: Use the same Gmail address you created in Week 3. All your emails, contacts, and labels will be there!

Troubleshooting

App won't sign in? Make sure you're using the correct email address and password. Try the "Forgot password" option if needed.
Not seeing recent files? Pull down on the screen to refresh, or check your internet connection.
Running out of space? Go to Settings in the app to manage storage or delete old items you don't need.
