🔧 Before Your Call (15 Minutes Ahead)

Test your camera
Go to Settings > Privacy > Camera to make sure it's working
Test your microphone
Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone to verify it's enabled
Check your speakers or headphones
Make sure volume is up and you can hear audio
Find the meeting link or ID
Check your email or text for the meeting information
Close unnecessary programs
This helps your computer run the video call smoothly
Charge your laptop (if applicable)
Or make sure it's plugged in to avoid running out of battery

Mute yourself when not speaking
Reduces background noise for everyone else
Look at the camera when talking
It's like making eye contact with the other person
Speak clearly and a bit slower
Audio quality can sometimes make fast speech hard to understand
Use the chat for questions
If you don't want to interrupt, type your question in the chat

They can't hear me	Check if you're muted (click the microphone icon)
I can't hear them	Check your computer's volume; make sure speakers/headphones are connected
They can't see me	Check if video is off (click the camera icon); check camera privacy settings
Video is choppy/freezing	Turn off your video to save bandwidth; close other programs
I got disconnected	Click the meeting link again to rejoin; check your internet

💡 When in Doubt: Leave the meeting and rejoin using the same link. This fixes most problems!
